Alisha & Pete recently shared their one year anniversary & Alisha's birthday! I can hardly believe it's been a year already. These sweet NC State fans put lots of twists on their day and made it a reflection of who they were and the fun they enjoyed together.
As guests arrived to Chippewa Square for the ceremony, they were given roses from two separate arrangements. In place of the traditional unity candle, all guests were invited to take their roses and place them in one arrangement along with Alisha & Pete's to signify the two families coming together and becoming one. After the recessional everyone joined together again for a round of "Happy Birthday" as Alisha blew out sparklers. (something about eating cake and punch under large Savannah oaks, feels magical). As guests headed to the Savannah River Boat, the newly weds enjoyed photos around town, even taking time to sample some pralines at
River Street Sweets. It was a beautiful night on the Riverboat and guests enjoyed an intimate reception and dancing. At the end of the night, Alisha and Pete exited under floating bubbles and lived happily ever after!
thankfully, Bonnie
